Service after the flood

Hermana Duarte and the Bishop of the Heller Ward were kind enough to share some photos of our missionaries helping after the floods in April.  If you look close at this first photo you can see how high the water and mud was in this house.
Our missionaries were so wonderful to help members and nonmembers to get the mud out of their homes.  One nonmember said that God had sent these wonderful angels to help him.  They even did it with a smile!

The Young Women's room in San Martin

When we do interviews in San Martin I always choose to meet with the missionaries in this Young Women’s Room. "Mujeres Jovenes" is "Young Womens" in Spanish!

This room is so cheerful and I love to see how the church is the same all over the world!  They have all the colors of the Young Women’s values, the theme and other things to help their young women keep track of their goals.

Meeting in this room makes talking about pensions and language study even more fun!   It is my job to have the missionaries ready for their interview with President Lovell. If his interview goes long I sometimes have a chance to talk about other fun things that are happening in their lives.  It is so fun to get to know each one of these missionaries better.  Those that speak Spanish are so patient with me as I speak to them in my very best Spanish!

The Young Women in San Martin should feel right at home in this special room!

Dinner at the home of Presidente Cárdenas

After our interviews in San Martin Presidente Cárdenas and his wife had the entire zone over for lunch.  They borrowed tables and chairs from neighbors and had a place prepared for all of us to sit!

Presidente Cárdenas is a councilor in the Zapala Stake Presidency.  San Martin is part of the Zapala Stake.

Their entire family had worked hard to prepare the food for all of us!

It was delicious!

We certainly felt of their love and support!

Leadership Council

These leaders work hard with the missionaries in their zones and groups and in their own areas.  They are a great blessing to all they serve.  This transfer we have added another companionship of Sister Leader Trainers.  This will make it so much easier for all of the sisters to do their intercambios.  They will not have to travel so far!  It is wonderful to just be around such wonderful missionaries!
