Los Fieles-The Faithful

It is hard to believe that the last fifteen months have gone so fast!  Elder and Sister Asbell have served here while their son has served a mission in the Philippines and their daughter has served her mission in Uruguay.  They have served in the branch of Trevelin in the Zone of Esquel.  I will share more of their adventures in Trevelin in a later blog post.
The Asbells needed to leave a week earlier than the other Fieles to be home to greet their son as he returns home from his mission in the Philippines.

Elder Asbell was especially happy to turn over his phone to President Lovell!

While we were at the airport we met the President of the Buenos Aries Temple.  They had been here to set apart temple workers in the area and to speak to all of those who had been to the temple.  There was a family in Trevelin that had some special circumstances and he was willing to work with us to help this wonderful family.

We are so glad that the Asbells live close to us in Utah so we will see them again!

The next week we said goodbye to three more Fieles!  One of the hardest things we do is to say good bye to these wonderful missionaries!  They have served so well and we love them so much! I think that is why I like to take so many photos.  It is a way to remember the feelings and experiences we have had together.    We know that we will be together again and we are grateful for that!
These first three photos are the photos we took when they first arrived in the mission.  It is so fun to think back to that time and to see how much they have grown in these last two years!  It is also wonderful to think of the lives they have been able to bless with the knowledge of the gospel.

This is a day of celebrating these wonderful missionaries!

I especially loved our evening together because we did it all in English!  We all enjoyed our time together as we shared experiences and our testimonies of the truthfulness of the gospel.

Our financial secretary is totally prepared with all they need to make the trip home.

The night is always short and soon it is time to really say goodbye!

We loved hearing one more fun story!

Then Goodbye....

...Until we see you again.
