New Stake Presidency in Bariloche

Along with doing our mission tour Elder Viñas had the assignment to call a new Stake Presidency for the Bariloche Stake.  We were able to join him for dinner with the existing Stake Presidency before the changes were made.  He especially wanted to thank the wives for their years of support to their husbands.  These men have been such strong leaders and have done much to build the church in Bariloche.  When President Alverez was a young missionary he was the first member in Bariloche to be able to go to the temple.   The church has grown much stronger in these years of their service.

While Elder Viñas was doing interviews Sister Viñas and I went downtown to buy some chocolate for her family.  Bariloche is very famous for it's chocolate!  It was actually a birthday celebration for the city of Bariloche...complete with a parade!

Elder from Cabrera from Uruguay was the Area 70 that assisted Elder Viñas in the interviews and the Stake Conference.

The Stake Conference was wonderful.  The new Stake Presidency was sustained.  President and I both gave talks along with Elder Viñas and all of the new and old Stake Presidency.  After the conference it was fun to see some of the missionaries from the Bariloche and El Bolsone Zones.
