Happy Mother's Day

This is a few days after Mother's Day since we were gathering information from around the globe (from Sister Lovell's daughters serving missions), but we're taking over the mission blog to wish our Mom a very happy Mother's Day!  We all miss being with her, but all of us feel so blessed to have her as our mother and to be a part of the wonderful missionary experiences she is having right now.

Our mom with her mother and grandmother, and our mom as a baby with her mother:

Our mom and all of her daughters:

You've taught and strengthened us our whole lives - we wanted to give you something that would help and strengthen you on your mission, and remind you of how much we love you!  So, here are our favorite scriptures for you, Mom.  We love you!  Happy Mother's Day!

Stacey:
Mosiah 7:33
33 But if ye will turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all diligence of mind, if ye do this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage.

Jamie:
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Megan:
Ecclesiastes 3:1
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Jessica:
Doctrine and Covenants 64:33
33 Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.

Liz:
Psalm 127:1
1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Kathryn:
Mosiah 2:41
2 And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.

Erica:
D&C 6: 33-37
33 Fear not to do good, my sons, for whatsoever ye sow, that shall ye also reap; therefore, if ye sow good ye shall also reap good for your reward.
34 Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail.
35 Behold, I do not condemn you; go your ways and sin no more; perform with soberness the work which I have commanded you.
36 Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.
37 Behold the wounds which pierced my side, and also the prints of the nails in my hands and feet; be faithful, keep my commandments, and ye shall inherit the kingdom of heaven. Amen.

Ashley:
Doctrine and Covenants 50:25
25 And again, verily I say unto you, and I say it that you may know the truth, that you may chase darkness from among you;

Brittany:
Doctrine and Covenants 123:17
17 Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.
