It is Stake Conference time! We travelled 5 1/2 hours to Bariloche to attend their Stake Conference on Sunday. It was wonderful to meet with the members and the missionaries! Elder Chiapi, an Area Seventy from Uruguay, presided over the conference. President Lovell spoke in all of the meetings and I was asked to bear my testimony Saturday night. The building was full and the meetings were inspiring. We of course loved to see the missionaries!
There was a beautiful Choir that included members and missionaries.
This is the Stake Patriarch and his wife. They have a wonderful family. One of their sons was a
Councilor in our Mission Presidency when the mission included the Comodoro Stake. Another one of their sons was sustained to be in the Stake Presidency during this Stake Conference. They have a wonderful story about how they joined the church!
