We just finished meeting with every missionary in the mission! This is such a privilege for us. I get to talk to them about their health, their language study, their pensions and other things while they wait for their interview with President Lovell. These interviews are an important time for President Lovell and for the missionaries to meet. The interviews happen every three months.
The assistants do specialized trainings during the interviews. This is what the assistants wrote about those specialized trainings:
We started off the
interviews talking about faith. We talked about the differences between faith,
a belief, and knowledge. Mormon messages
and bible videos were used to help feel the spirit and to hear the words of the
living Prophets. The missionaries gave such great insights and opinions as we
talked about our goals such as full tithe payers, a temple in Neuquén, and
doubling the attendance of the sacrament meeting. To help put all of this
information in practice, we did practices to help us teach better and know what
investigators need in their areas.
